Climate, equipment, previous settings, occupancy, energy prices, and actual operation differ. Compare the complete installed cost and practical benefits without assuming the largest advertised saving will occur in your home.

After installation, review an ordinary week of operation. Check that the schedule matches the household, that overrides behave as expected, and that no resident is fighting an automated setting. Keep the installer's documentation and the original equipment details. The successful choice is a compatible control that the household can use confidently through routine changes, not the device with the most automated features.
